Video Editing & Production
I've been shooting and editing my own short films and videos since 1999. My work has used a variety of mediums and styles but my primary interest is in Super 8 film and animation. I have my own editing suite, with the most recent Final Cut Studio. Quick edits, cutting to music and assembling pop culture parody are a few of my favourite tasks.

| Inside Out hired me to create the trailer for their 2007 festival. This animated short was made using images from the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives. Two versions were created: a 30 second version that was used for Showcase Television and a 1 minute version that was shown before each of the over 80 screenings of the festival. | |

| Zoe brought me a rough edit of her trailer and I worked with her to speed up the pacing, cut it to music and turn it into what you see here. | |

| This is an example of my favourite kind of challenge. Chelsey Lichtman of the Fat Femme Mafia brought me her raw footage, a song and a rough idea of the visual flow she wanted. Then I get to put it all together in my own style. Cutting video to music is something that I really enjoy doing. | |
